Hammer Smashed Face es el primer EP de Cannibal Corpse, distrubuido por Metal Blade Records en 1993. Existe también un single que únicamente contiene las tres primeras canciones del mismo. Por compartir canciones con Tomb of the Mutilated, estuvo prohibido en Alemania hasta junio de 2006. Se realizaron dos versiones de la carátula, la correspondiente al single, que muestra un primer plano de una calavera usada como candelabro (y que aparecía ya en la portada de Tomb of the Mutilated) y la del EP, que es mucho más gráfica y presenta un hombre destrozado a martillazos.

La canción que da nombre al EP es muy conocida por una breve aparición en Ace Ventura, en la que Jim Carrey canta y baila imitando a Chris Barnes.

Tomb of The Mutilated es el tercer álbum de Cannibal Corpse, que fue distribuido por la discográfica Metal Blade Records en 1992. Como en los anteriores discos de la banda, estuvo prohibido en Alemania hasta junio de 2006 por la crudeza de su portada, en la que se ve a un zombi realizando el cunnilingus a otra muerta viviente. Existe una versión censurada que en lugar de eso presenta un zombie de color observando una escena sexual que no se muestra en la imagen. Es considerado, por muchos, como el mejor album de Cannibal Corpse y uno de los mejores dentro del Death Metal, dado lo elaborado de sus riffs, la velocidad de su tempo, la terrorifica y poderosa voz de Chris Barnes, y por sus letras con extrema perversidad. Los vocales de Chris Barnes en este album son excepcionalmente guturales, tanto que dentro del album hay una nota donde dice: "No se usaron harmonizadores electronicos para crear alguna voz en los temas de este álbum."
